We consider interfaces, power, communication, component lifecycle, production testing and the physical constraints of the real product, not only whether the first board can switch on.
Embedded firmware
Device logic, communications, sensor integration, control algorithms, diagnostics, update strategy and production testing support.
Firmware is developed as part of the complete system, with defined states, error handling, service diagnostics, configuration control and communication behavior that can be supported after launch.
PC, web & mobile software
Operator tools, configuration utilities, dashboards and for customers applications designed around the real product workflow.
The interface is shaped around what users, installers and service teams actually need to do: configure, monitor, update, diagnose, export data and understand the device without unnecessary complexity.
Server, API & database
Backend architecture, secure device communication, data storage and administration tools, with hosting controlled by the customer.
We define the technical requirements and build around the customer’s selected provider, country and account. Access, backups, logging, retention and handover responsibilities are agreed for the project.
Mechanical integration
Enclosure and assembly coordination, interface constraints, prototype fit checks and supplier alignment where the product requires it.
Electronics cannot be designed in isolation from connectors, heat, mounting, service access, cable routing, tooling and assembly. We coordinate the specialist work so the pieces fit together in practice.
Prototype & production readiness
Prototype builds, functional validation, iteration, production files, supplier coordination, inspection criteria and controlled transition.
A prototype proves direction; production readiness requires repeatability. We close findings, document revisions, define tests and acceptance criteria, and support a controlled pilot build before scale.

If formal approvals may be required, tell us the target countries, intended use and expected pathways before design begins. These requirements influence the PCB, components, wireless modules, materials, enclosure, documentation and production approach.

SmartLink supports planning and coordination but is not a testing laboratory or certification body. The approval holder, formal regulatory responsibility, external costs and required deliverables are defined for each product, market and engagement.
