Applicable laws and regulations
We aim to comply with applicable company, trade, customs, import, export, sanctions, bribery prevention, privacy and intellectual property requirements relevant to our activities and each transaction.
Customer, destination and intended use
Where appropriate, we may request information about the contracting party, end user, destination, product classification and intended civilian or commercial use. Accurate and complete information is required before we proceed.
Controlled or restricted transactions
Products, technology, software, destinations or end uses may be subject to restrictions, license requirements or prohibitions. SmartLink may pause, decline or cancel work where information is incomplete, a required approval is unavailable, or the transaction presents unacceptable legal or compliance risk.
Responsible supplier coordination
Independent suppliers and service providers are engaged according to the project. Requirements, approved specifications and permitted disclosures are communicated on a necessary access basis.
Ethical conduct
We do not knowingly support bribery, fraud, sanctions evasion, prohibited diversion, misleading documentation or unlawful end use.
Project review review
Compliance decisions depend on the actual product, parties, destination and use. Customers remain responsible for their own legal obligations and for providing truthful final user and final use information.
